Lovers of Collegiate Style,

Welcome to Campus Sartorialist! I started this website in the summer of 2010, when I realized there was a lot of great style on college campuses worldwide yet no site to capture and curate it. Armed with a Nikon DSLR and a passion for photography and fashion, I started photographing stylish students at my alma mater, Duke University, in Durham, North Carolina. It wasn't easy to approach strangers and explain the purpose of my website at first but I quickly found that most people were more than happy and flattered to have their photos taken. A few other campuses joined in time and Campus Sartorialist slowly grew and evolved into the website you are browsing today, featuring more than 40 campuses worldwide.

Campus Sartorialist was created to showcase and reward those students who embrace and integrate style into their collegiate experience as well as chronicle the evolution of style through time.
